Kitty-Whitehouse
Kitty Whitehouse lives in the Bozeman area. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1997 with a Bachelors Degree in Art. She has won many awards and her art is in private collections in both the U.S. and Europe.Whitehouse works in watercolor, oil and colored pencils. She enjoys plein- aire painting under the big skies of Montana, capturing horses and landscapes. Her love of wildlife subjects has taken her to Africa to study her subjects first hand in order to capture the essence of the animals in their own habitat. She considers her art successful if it touches her viewers in a way that evokes empathy for the animal. She is a signature member of the Artists for Conservation group atwww.natureartists.com
